That is absolutely hilarious! 165db?? That is more than twice as loud as an authentic trainhorn. If this type of advertising is any indication of the company’s level of honesty, I would turn & run.
To answer your question though, I believe the Shocker or Rocker kits are the best loudness vs qualitly vs value. If your budget is a little lower, it might be worth saving a little longer. Depends what you want. Shockers are THE next loudest thing after a real trainhorn.
Make sure the airline for the horn valve is attached to a high tank port so any liquid doesn’t blast right out. Then most of it should stay in the tank until you drain it.
As far as the kits go I’d recommend: http://www.hornblasters.com/products/details.php?i=psychoblasters-228-air-horn-kit
over the first one. It looks like a fairly similar kit and in fact does use the same air source. There are a few distinct advantages with the HornBlasters kit though: the horn is constructed of higher quality metals that hold chrome for longer, and our valves are built to withstand a much higher pressure than any generic horn valve. This means the product will last you much longer.
If you go the antifreeze route, you would indeed have to keep refilling it. It’s hard to say the exact amount of timing since it depends on how often you use the horns. Maybe someone here would be able to give you an estimate. You could alternatively purchase an alcohol evaporator (~$100), which would be much easier to maintain.
Welcome to the forum. You should be able to get by with a cap full just before each winter. Some solenoids, including the valve type, may have temperature limits. I think most are rated for -20 but I’m not sure if that’s C or F.
So if i put my the compressor in the car trunk, where should i put the horn on such a small car? Where should the power cable should pass to reach the battery?
Look under the car, maybe behind bumper or strapped up underneath somewhere. The power cable would be run under the car, or thru it, that is up to you.
