ok i havent on here in a while but i had an idea and this is the best place to ask it
i was with my buddie today and i was talking about putting a purge valve on my tank and he said i should put the valve inside my fender pointing out so i could spray people when i emtyd my tank, then it went from that to a box full of water so i could spray people all the time
now i know its a dick move but just think about how funny it would be to shoot water at someone at the touch of a button
i want the water to shoot out in a spray, not a stream but i cant figure out how to make it spread into mist
i am going to make somekind of a box full of water and conect it to my tank with a valve somewhere inline like this but i dont know how to make it spray like a mist any ideas on what i could change to get the spray im after
Horns are one thing with scaring people, but now your getting in people’s space by spraying things on them. Someone can panic, not know what was sprayed on them, call the cops, and next thing you know the cops or fbi will be showing up. This is 2009, people freak out about things like this.
Now if you do it to people you know, good job. Dont forget a one way valve so water doesnt come in the air tank.
Oh the old school way of doing this is get a old windshield washer bottle with the pump attached to the bottle from the junkyard. Audi’s have high volume pumps. Lot cheaper, will spray as well, and all thats needed is a power wire and a switch. I did this when I was younger. About the same time I figured out how to make flames shoot out my exhaust with a coil, a spark plug, and manual choke on the carburetor. Haha, carburetor.
IMO this is how i would do it. probably a more expencive aproach but i think it would get the best mist. the way you have it you will most likely get more of a stream than a mist. this way you will get a mix of air and water. you can regulate the amount of air. the less air there is going through that line the more water you would be spraying. just for good measure make sure your air is going into the top of the water tank and your are sucking from the bottom, and your water tank can handle the same pressure as your air tank.
get a spray gun (that uses compressed air for painting stuff) fill it with water, figure out a way of keeping the trigger pulled, run a solenoid to the air inlet of the spray gun. and there you have it.
now im not going to do it at random people walking on the side of the road your right they would freak out and i would just get into trouble but driving by one of my buddies or something just give him a little spray ya know
I helped one of my firends re rout his windshield wiper sprayer, for the passenger side, all the way through his car, and out through a hole by his licends plate. It actually sprays pretty far. great for tailgaters, or at red lights, or anywhere where someone is behind you.
As for this, lol the only problem I see is the really dirty shit water that comes out of the tank. clean water is fine, but the water that comes out of my tank is a tad dirty. I think my friends would gang up and beat my ass if i did it to them. lol

oh yeah. would like to do that to those who tailgate me and have their high beams on. happened twice this week. was thinking of having some fog lamps pointing at the rear windshield or a pea shooter-like device hooked to the air tank via my extra valve and ammo is tissue paper soaked in paint stripper. :mad:
